John Mullan

John Mullan is a professor of English Literature at University College London. He is the author of numerous books, including Sentiment and Sociability: The Language of Feeling in the Eighteenth Century (1990); How Novels Work (2006); Anonymity: A Secret History of English Literature (2008); What Matters in Jane Austen (2012); and The Artful Dickens: The Tricks and Ploys of the Great Novelist (2020).
