Elizabeth Weiss

Elizabeth Weiss is a professor of anthropology at San José State University. She is the author, with attorney James W. Springer, of a new book Repatriation and Erasing the Past (University of Florida Press, 2020), which takes a critical look at laws that mandate the return of human remains from museums and laboratories to ancestral burial grounds.
